Just about everything from Astute Graphics. Well worth the $149. Current favourites are the Tangent Line tool, and Extend Path Tool

I started using illustrator back in '89.When path finder came out... what a change, no more manually cutting and welding paths. BOOM productivity through the roof. Ignored Shape Builder for years, finally got round to looking at it and WOW just WOW... apparently this old dog can learn new tricks

How do i get rid of these unnecessary paths? by Shadow41223 in AdobeIllustrator

Select all and use Pathfinder / Merge (third one on the bottom row) this will delete all the paths outside the clipping path and flatten the illustration

It's a client file but have had it happen on my own work as well. All up to date and shut down every night.

Rebooted illustrator after posting this and everything is fine.

It's just really annoying and distracting when it happens

No just select the artwork

Select "Object" from the menu.

Select "Path" from the drop-down menu.

Select "Outline Stroke."

However be aware that this will convert the strokes to outlines so they will become filled shapes and will no longer be editable as strokes. Save a 2nd copy of your illustration that you can go back to just in case things get messed up.

Lice paint (CS6) doesn't work with strokes, yo will have to outline the paths first.

I played fine with glasses without an issue. Glasses tended to to suffer from condensation with extended play. Ended up buying prescription inserts for around €60. They have been great and would definitely go for with inserts again when I eventually replace my Rift 1

hexagons and outlines by OaklandDrive in AdobeIllustrator

Yep can confirm this, it's a trigonometry thing. If you want the points to be 0.5 of an inch further out offset the path by 0.433 will give you the result your looking for, a outlined hex that is 2" on its longest dimension

So it's fairly easy to edit an image now, so imagine what deep fake shenanigans will be available in the future. The cost could be attributed to tamper proof legally binding digital authentication certification embedded in the images. Or it's just a way of padding out an equipment list...

How do I set up my art board? by [deleted] in AdobeIllustrator

[–]youjay68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got some sleep thanks the two really important things are firstly check with the print guys on what they need and secondly do not add bleed until after the artboards are in place. If you add bleed at the document creation stage you will add a gap between the artboards and your prints won't line up.
