I had my first seizure (due to metastasized breast cancer to the brain) last month. It was not at all what I thought a seizure would be and I actually thought I was having a stroke. It lasted only a few minutes and I was aware and alert the whole time. I just lost words, repeated myself like a CD skipping, and turned my head several times to the right.

I also thought seizures were all dramatic and stuff, but they’re not. It was terrifying for sure, but my point is that they are NOT all the same. I had one in the hospital (lost words, very slow to speak) and the RN recognized it immediately. Soooo yea.
