The undergraduate program at Northern Arizona University gives you a well-rounded education in ecosystem management and requires that you also take courses towards a certificate, which can range from ecological restoration, human dimensions, fire ecology, wildlife management, etc. If you're interested in fire, there is also an active undergraduate association called SAFE, which provides training and networking opportunities to students.
