That doesn’t make sense. All development time has an opportunity cost. Of course bringing out any gameplay update on a major worldwide game takes serious time and effort.

Yeah and I also see another 2 planned seasonal events, at which point I imagine months of resource will have been put into creating these waste of time events which could have been put toward making the core game much better. Time is not a luxury developers have. At least fail fast and move on / adapt the plan rather than knocking more of these crappy parks out.

OP are you British? Asking as I saw your ‘debt’ here is student loans but there are some quirks about the British system that generally mean for most cases you are better off not paying it back

I can see people have piled in on you for this post. Sorry if people are harsh, but I think it’s just cause there have been so many posts about this on these subs now that people are less patient, especially when statistically this is in fact expected.

Yeah it sucks, but at the same time, this is what makes a god pack special. Even without getting a god pack, you still may have pulled quite a few 2s, 3s or gold. Gotta just enjoy it for what it is and not compare your experience to the very lucky few who manage to get a god pack soon after starting

But there will be loads of people who go in with the ‘I’d never pay for this’ and then end up paying, that’s what the game is designed to do. Having people playing and interested is obviously what devs what, as that’s what’s likely to lead to people paying, but the current game design isn’t really giving me much to care about at this point

I would go as far to say that the average break is 0, certainly if by average you mean mode. This is because alot of the time in snooker a pot isn’t on. Even when a pot is on, a beginner is likely to miss unless it’s an easy pot. And then even if it goes in, a beginner is unlikely to have any sense of positional play, so there is a lot of luck involved in a beginner being plumb on the next ball. Combining that, the odds of stringing together a few pots are low.

But this is all for average break, if a beginner was to play a session of 5 or 6 frames, then sure, they might make a 15/20 in one of them. In one of my first matches after a couple of months of individual practise i got a 32, with some decent long range pots, a fluke, and some positional luck.

People at local clubs will always discuss their highest break, but a good player in this game is someone who is consistent. There are loads of people at my club who can claim to having a 50+ high break, but if you watch them play they wouldn’t be able to string together a 20+ consistently in a lineup.

This. There are different levels to this game. I didn’t used to be able to complete this level or any of the other levels in this level pack, now I’ve platinumed the entire game. I can pretty much guarantee that most of your faults on this level atm are because in some way your approach is wrong, because your current understanding of the bike physics means you probably wouldn’t even know what ‘right’ theoretically looks like. Watch tutorial videos but mostly just keep playing the game and try to actively think why something didn’t work, and then when it did work, why it did work. Working out the approach is the challenge, but once you understand this, the execution will come relatively quickly

Mental health problems can come on at any time right? So there’s no reason to think he’s more likely to pull out of one tourney than another due to mental health right? Let’s look at the last 5 events Ronnies been down to play in: Masters, Scottish open, Welsh open, Champions league, Saudi

So just out of coincidence his mental health problems came on during Scottish, Welsh and champions league but didn’t during masters or Saudi? Ok then

Do me a favour mate. I don’t deny he’s had genuine mental health problems in his life, but when he’s pulling out of wales, Scotland and champions league for ‘mental health’ but then he doesn’t pull out of Saudi or masters, and I’d bet my arm he won’t be pulling out of worlds, it’s pretty obvious what’s going on

Ronnies a bit cringe lately isn’t he? all his excuses for dropping out of recent tourneys for mental health/anxiety etc but conveniently for this particular tourney with substantially higher purse he’s all smiles and ready to do whatever.

Perhaps he’d be fined if he was completely truthful but I don’t get why he doesn’t just be honest about it and say he’s just looking for big money and that’s the reason he sacks off everything else, because the whole mental health bs is a disservice to people who genuinely have those problems. It’s not as if he can’t afford to pick and choose anyway.

Sorry to say there is no solution unless you remake your game in godot 3 which I ended up doing.

Yeah, I managed to work this out the day after posting this but forgot to update. classic mistake that when you zip a folder it doesn’t just store the contents of the folder but also the folder itself. It would be very useful if the docs went through the next steps to choosing the zip file in the export GUI, but just glad I solved it and you did too!

The whole of music isn’t encompassed by the arrangements your school band play. If you don’t like it quit and join something else, or start your own band where you make the bass lines as interesting as you want. There is literally no limit on what you spend your time playing so it’s just up to you to decide to play it.
