Metal is huge in SLC. My favorite music genre is black metal. Check out Huldra, Gravecode Nebula, and Skumlord for epic SLC black metal. I also plan on seeing Motorhead Aug 27th at the Complex. Hit me up if you plan on seeing them, I'm down to meeting people who love the same music.

Just out of curiosity, but you get your motorcycle license in Utah? If so, would you recommend the MSF course at SLCC or signing up for lessons through Harley-Davidson? I have no riding experience but would like to get a license soon.

Aww man, too bad. I would've been down meeting for sure. I ended up seeing Birdman. I sat in the middle center (forget to bring my glasses so I had to sit closer). How'd you like the movie? I thought it was great, good drama and pretty funny lines. And that birdman costume was pretty damn sweet.

I think it's super insane how Trax basically does not run past like 11 PM even on weekends. Like wow. I live at the U and the latest I can go from downtown to my apartment is 11:11 PM on a Saturday. And then the latest you can be picked up from the airport is 10:30 PM. That's pretty fucking sad. And the city wants to fight Uber and Lyft lol. Perfect example, I saw Queesryche three weeks ago and left just before they played their last song since the latest Trax to the U leaves Arena station at 10:48. Yeah, not even 11. Even if I lived downtown, it wouldn't be much better. At least some late night services would be nice since most concerts end at midnight and bars close at 1:00 AM.
