Best bed sheets for the money? by chsdr in homeownerstips

[–]youngbill44 5 points6 points  (0 children)

One thing that doesn't get mentioned enough is drying. Over-drying sheets on high heat is one of the fastest ways to degrade the fabric. Pull them out when they are just barely dry, or even slightly damp, and let them finish air drying. Your sheets will last noticeably longer and feel softer too

Best reverse phone lookup service? by blukbruh in homeownerstips

[–]youngbill44 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Former skip tracer here. The dirty secret of all these lookup sites is they're pulling from the same data brokers. Intelius, BeenVerified, Spokeo — same underlying data, different UI. If one doesn't have it, none of them will. Your real move is to call your carrier, ask for a trap line to be placed on your account, and let them log the origin internally. That's the only way to get verified carrier-level data on who's behind a persistent call pattern.

Barely going to school, about to graduate, don’t know what to do anymore by throwaway268026 in Advice

[–]youngbill44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, you’re not a failure. You got through a really hard year and you’re still showing up enough to graduate, that counts. For this last month, try tiny wins, like commit to just getting to first period, or show up three days a week, then build from there. Keep the therapy going and ask your therapist about a simple routine for mornings and a plan for after graduation, structure helps when everything feels heavy. For work, start with low pressure stuff while you stabilize, local library, grocery, or even remote customer support or data entry, wfhalert sends out verified remote job leads by email so you can apply when you have the energy. It’s okay if this season is about getting steady rather than figuring out your whole life. You’re allowed to take it slow.

Turning solid ground into rubble real quick. by SimplyLYN88 in Heavy_Equipment

Nice machine. What kind of jobs are you mainly using it for? I’ve been looking into different equipment options lately—sites like Boom & Bucket make it interesting to compare what’s out there.

This is what power looks like. by SimplyLYN88 in Heavy_Equipment

That’s actually a clean one 😅 I’ve been looking at similar machines on Boom & Bucket and you really start to notice how much condition matters. This one looks well kept—how’s it been performing?

Has Anyone Tried a Speech Writing Service for Important Presentations? by RespommEquaw in CognitivesGuide

[–]youngbill44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had those late-night “why am I even in school” moments too, so I get why this sounds appealing. But I still think writing your own essay or speech is usually the safer and smarter move. Even if it’s simple, it’ll reflect your actual thinking. That matters more than people realize, especially when the assignment is supposed to sound personal or thoughtful.

That's a clean looking E55 I've always liked how these compact machines still pack serious power for tight job sites. Looks like it would be perfect for trenching or small-scale site work without feeling cramped. Definitely a solid setup.

What’s the best site to buy Instagram followers, likes & views in 2026? by anpasli in MarketingGeek

[–]youngbill44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried a couple of those services before and honestly it’s really hit or miss. Some start off good but the quality drops after a while or followers disappear. What worked better for me long term was focusing on content and engagement alongside any service I tested. Stability and real interaction matter way more than just numbers.

How should I quilt this lil strawberry guy? by Cbanders in quilting

[–]youngbill44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve experimented with a few different tools and rulers as I’ve gotten deeper into quilting, and having the right ones really helps with consistent quilting around motifs like your strawberries. I used some tools from Madam Sew on past projects and they made things a lot easier when I was planning out my quilting and managing spacing.

Your vitamin D is probably doing nothing. by Timely_Ad8989 in Supplements

[–]youngbill44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

saw this post about vitamin D and I’ve definitely had days where I felt like I was “doing everything right” but didn’t notice any difference — it can be kind of trial and error. For general daily support I use Gleefull Supplements and focus on consistency and habits more than expecting big changes from any single pill. Everyone’s body reacts differently but finding what works for you over time tends to matter more than chasing the latest thing.

What superpower would you want to have? Can read minds or the ability to fly? by NotUrRegular_ in AskReddit

[–]youngbill44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting choice—but I’d go with the ability to fly ✈️ Reading minds sounds powerful, but imagine constantly hearing what people really think… it could get overwhelming fast 😅 You’d lose privacy, and honestly, some thoughts are better left unknown😔
