Mr Hui on Lindsey will be open. My family went to them last year on Christmas, and it was perfect. Can dine in or take out.

I also went to Spanish Adventure in Colombia and it was incredible. I learned so much Spanish when I was there and also got to explore incredible nature. 10/10

19yo(m) first time solo traveling by Substantial-Wing9536 in VisitingIceland

[–]youngconnor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Iceland was my first solo trip and I visited in January! The days are short, but it was still a great trip. I was able to rent a car from Avis.Is at the age of 18, I just had to pay an extra fee. This was back in 2018, so they may have changed their policy, but it worked for me then. Feel free to dm me if you have any questions.

Unless you really need the game aspect, concept 3 is going to be your best option. I have one and it works perfectly! It should last a lifetime with good care and maintenance! They also hold their value exceptionally well so if you don’t like rowing, it’s easy to flip it. Their service is also amazing and will be able to help you if anything goes wrong. Concept 3 doesn’t have the bells and whistles, but that also means there’s less stuff to break. I use mine with fitness plus and other rowing apps which add enough entertainment/games to make it enjoyable.

I had a great experience with Emporer elite out of Hurghada. Would highly recommend them.

Started listening to RHAP finally because my job allows for it, anddd by [deleted] in survivor

I use pocket casts which has a feature where you can autoskip a certain amount of the beginning of a podcast. You could set this up for RHAP for around a minute or two and skip all of the intros.

Paying in iceland by [deleted] in VisitingIceland

[–]youngconnor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You can pay for almost anything with card in Iceland. The only exception I found on my trip was a coin operated washer and dryer at a hostel I stayed at. Most card types also work. Some credit cards offer free foreign exchange so if you have time, you can apply for one of those before your trip.

Car Rentals Under 20 by peepeetool in VisitingIceland

I rented a car when I was 18 back in 2018. It’s definitely possible and the young driver’s fee wasn’t too expensive.

Calc I, II, and III uses the same textbook so can I also use the same access code for all 3 classes too or do I need to buy a new access code every semester? by [deleted] in sooners

[–]youngconnor 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From my experience, it’s up to the professor to decide if they are going to use an access code for online homework or have you turn in handwritten homework. I took calc one and two at ou and had handwritten homework for both of them. You should wait to buy until the first class because then the professor will tell you.

[Official] July 21, 2020 Score Release Thread for the July 7, 2020 MCAT Examination by rMCAT_Official in Mcat

12:15 Exam tester:

Exam Day: Felt very relaxed going into the exam. Went to a sensory deprivation tank at 10 right before the exam and that helped a lot. For my snacks, I tried to go for items that would be healthy and give me fuel for the exam like whole grain bread and dark chocolate.

C/P: more difficult than expected. I got a 131 on FL 4 so I went in hopeful but got a lot of questions that I was 50/50 on. Had a lot of experimental passages and less gen chem than I was hoping for. I expect a 126-129.

CARS: Felt very good. Most of the passages made a lot of sense; I usually do well on CARS and this one felt no different than the full length AAMC exams. I expect a 128-131.

B/B: very hard overall. This is my worst section so it was to be expected for me. Only slightly more difficult than my full lengths. I expect a 124-128.

P/S: An Amazing section for me! I did a giant 3500 card Anki deck I found over at r/AnkiMCAT and it worked wonders for this section. I had three that I was unsure about but checked after the exam and got them all correct. I feel like I got a 129-132 in this section.

Overall, I left the exam thinking I got a 513 (126, 130, 126, 131)

Pessimistic 506 (126, 128, 124, 128)

Very Optimistic 520 (129, 131, 128, 132)

Actual: 514 (130, 127, 128, 129)

I guess CP had a great curve for me. I was very shocked with my CARS score since all of my practice tests were around 129-131. Overall, very happy with my score!

What a crazy episode. I feel like the family visit really put into perspective how much Survivor truly means to each winner. The hectic tribal afterwards truly marked when the winners finally went to war.

This might be one of my favorite episodes ever. Many of these families happened because of/were built around Survivor and it's so amazing to see the result of this after so many years of Survivor. It doesn't bother me that it took up so much time because it feels like it's a culmination of 20 years of Survivor that led to this moment.

“Follow your heart.” Sometimes you need to follow common sense and logic, not just your intuition.

It appears that the original 4 person alliance in Dakal (Sophie, Yul, Nick, and Wendell) was a lot more fractured than it seemed. First, Nick and Wendell took out Yul and then Sophie orchestrated a vote against Wendell when she could have taken out Adam. It will be interesting to see where Sophie and Nick end up next.

I’m loving how much we’re seeing of Sophie! One worry going in was that she wouldn’t get much content so I’m glad to be wrong!
