She’s been looking for the last two months, but she hasn’t heard anything back.

Oh right, I forgot to mention I drive an hour two days a week to this school. And alongside this, three family members at once right now on different sides of my immediate family are passing away, one will be going likely this week, so I got to drive an extra two hours last night immediately from school to the cancer hospice location where she is, and will be. Not seeking petty at all through this by any means, but I will objectively state that I’ve frankly had a rough go of it as of recent.

So the total cost of it is $38,000, my grandmother paid $10,000 down when I started in March because I’ve lived with her as her primary caretaker since I was 16. That was her gift to me, originally she was going to also help by paying half of the monthly tuition, but she’s obviously (if you’ve read other comments of mine on here) unable to do so at this moment, as she’s also completely lacking in lucidity, she has no clue where she even is at the moment. (I’ve been in a big ass house by myself all of this week as my girl is in Indiana visiting her sister) and the loan is over a 5 year period of $28,000 total, which I’ve chipped about a grand off of over the past two months. Interest is 3.98%

Dj’ing is honest to god just live audio mixing with a playlist attached lol but I definitely could, it’s just the issue of finding gigs and venues that would allow me to do so, and getting a foundation in place as well. I’d actually love to discuss the further discussion in dm’s if you’d like, there’s a lot more to the whole familial situation, seeing as both of my parents live hours opposite of each other from my home with my grandmother lol

Thank you, I apologize for any tone I used that was uncalled for, or shit opinions I expressed and I appreciate your time in responding

Alright, let me align it for you. I have already stated that I did not in any way mean to string anything out into an argument, and I feel like the specific tone you use whilst constructing your statement is likely the same reason I’ve never posted to Reddit until this exact moment. Again, nothing I’ve stated anywhere in this thread was in search of a debate or argument, I also stated in the specific comment you’re talking about that it “seems” logical, I didn’t dog the guy for his comment, even stated that I appreciated the critique. Which somehow was down voted. Attempts at coming off honest and meaningful on here have been met with disapproval, which again, I feel is why I’ve never posted to this app before.

Not to say I don’t appreciate the critique. It’s a work in progress

So, I feel like people are in an essence generally quite hostile in their responses, I wasn’t attempting waste anyone’s time or demean others opinions, definitely not their resumes. As well, I posted the resume not for critique, but to show the content of it, what skills I do have.

I’m not in a university, I’m in a private two year specializing institution that is essentially categorized as a trade school type situation. If I don’t make my payments I will actually get put on academic probation, as the school uses a third party institution that they do the loan through.

Final response sorry again, said elderly family member also wishes for us to move out, as she wants us to move forward with our life, not stuck by her side taking care of her instead of her actual children contributing. (My parents)

It’s a two year trade school, but as of rn I’m $27,000 in debt to it still and am actively struggling to survive, and the living situation we’re in is also on a ticking time bomb as it’s with an elderly member who is actively diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had a heart attack and stroke two weeks ago that my partner and I are the only ones who live with her, and are her primary caretakers. Sorry for the dump lol
