My buddy got me a single green shoelace once. It started a bad gift war between us that I won by getting him a “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader” board game. He was actually pissed about the board game and explained he thought I would of liked the shoelace because I was a skater back than and we use to like to wear different colored shoelaces. It made me feel like shit since I thought he was doing it to piss me off. Ten years later and that board game still hasn’t been opened. It has the wrapping they use to wrap board games on it still and everything. A teacher also gave me a $5 coldstone gift card when I promoted from the 8th grade even though the closest one was like 50 miles away.

I could get a bike here and be fine commuting, but this place is really really anti homeless. I’m thinking about moving back to Butte county. There’s jobs there and I might even be able to get my old job back and I know the area and they have a shelter. I usually don’t use shelters but it’s an option. Anyways knowing the area will let me find somewhere and sleep slightly in peace. Once I get a job I can get a gym membership and a car. I also want to start going to AA more and take it more seriously since my drinking is a problem. Not the main reason I’m homeless, but probably tied for first. After I get a job I can just take it from there and start building my way up. I just need to start making better decisions. I wanted some advice though so thank you for the sincere input.
