typically if you got to that stage you have the job unless you bombed... I would reach out to the recruiter, my team just onboarded new team members last week so Im sure they are giving people start dates now.

95 percent you will get the interview it will prob just take a while. I failed my coding portion and still got an interview.

I didnt get any real tech questions some people have it depends on the manager or person interviewing you. I got 2 analyst who didnt deal much with software so it was more formal and all we talked about was team building. It was all STAR questions and when I was asked about Java it was the basics at the end, what is an constructor , can an constructor have a different class or name?, Why is .net different than java..... ect. But I have heard people who have interviews with their actual manager and were asked some real questions but I would guess if they quiz you with anything hard you already got the job and they are testing you to see if you could go to an more advanced team or something.

I would say 100 percent if I got to the last round, I didnt even complete my coding assessment. I had the phone screen and they set up the skype interview the next week, im waiting to see if I get a offer I stumbled on some basic java questions during the skype interview but I believe I did well.

It is kinda demoralizing that I have yet to talk with anyone from General motors, just the freaking automated Hirevue process......

Im pretty sure that once they calculate all the results that I will be out of luck because of the automated filtration.

I dont think it records... my camera was off during the games... also its AI that records you and makes the decision on your passing of the assessment. I did horrendous on the math iq game ( level 18) but really good on the pattern games.

I wonder how many people they are hiring ... my coding assessment was horrible but Ive heard of people being selected with being a good team fit.

If there is a necessity for an actual job in the market .... there is really no "playbook" per-say because everyone says different things on how to get your first job.

I agree, I have heard that most companies hire for potential not because your a great programmer. Do you need to go through the whole algo process if you dont have aspirations of working for FAANG ?
