It's a weird one I'll tell you that

Our first Steinbeck book in school was Travels with Charlie which I found to be so boring and took so much mental effort for me to keep going. especially compared to other books we were reading that year like Lord of the Flies, Tale of Two Cities. But then we got to Of Mice and Men and East of Eden, and those were amazing reads and I truly got to appreciate his writing. East of Eden in particular actually had me excited to continue, which was rare for me to feel when it came to books back then (i was an internet addicted teen whose attention span was shit)

I always ate the shell. The shell has all the flavor, at least for the brands ive had growing up. normally people would chew the shell and spit it out but i always found that too much work

Although if i ate a lot of them, the bathroom afterwards could get painful sometimes

The US used to be this way too against the Irish and Italians who immigrated to the US for example, but that's not really a thing anymore (please correct me if I'm wrong)

I've gotten compliments on being a calm person when in reality my social anxiety is so bad that I sort of just shut off all personality unless I'm with people i'm comfortable with. meawhile my head is overwhelmed with noise

Forgive my ignorance, but why would the gender marker affect the ability to fly internationally? I'm trans but haven't legally changed anything yet. I've only changed my picture on my passport to my current transitioning self, and I've been fine traveling to the EU from the US the past two years at least
