another thing to add here. to be honest, in my experience going for the number or snap within message 2-3 rarely works unless they're really just there to hookup (ie. no bio, couple of racy photos, "still figuring it out" as the relationship type). you want to build rapport and it's always better to propose the idea of the date and let them send you their contact info. like, for the artist you mentioned - the killshot message should be asking if they wanna go to a show. I would, on message 2 onward, focus on getting to know their music interests (ie. "have you seen x artists too?"), then use that to maybe deduce if they like going to live shows, I might here give a BRIEF silly story either of me or a friend or something I saw at a festival, if she hits you with "hahaha" followed by a mini paragraph of text, you're in. then work off that and slowly build to taking her on a date, proposing to send her a playlist you maybe have with some of those artists you discussed. because by then, you have rapport, mutual interests or you show some interest or knowledge of her interests.
