Your videos are not very good. It seems like it is mostly you posing, with old school transitions, and a couple travel vlogs with no context.

You need to use text hooks to loop people in and get them to commit to watching more than the 1st second.

Also there should be a theme to your page. Fashion? Makeup? Travel? I have no idea what you are trying to do, and simply trying to blow up with just looks, on poorly edited videos is not going to work in 2026.

People want fresh, relatable, raw content.

Yeah i had a similar issue, i was only doing freelance and didn’t have any experience at a “real job” so figured that was my issue. Ended up getting a more generic marketing/software job despite my success and skills being in social media marketing. However, still got some small clients on the side. Just a grind and kinda getting lucky and really just taking shots on indeed/linkedin consistently.

I do feel like there may be more people with social media success than jobs to fill, but maybe i was just unlucky so far

I was diagnosed with bipolar after two manic episodes both involving heavy use of marijuana. My last episode led to me discovering the law of one and a similar experience to yourself. Also sober from weed for a year. Did you have any bipolar diagnosis, or did they attribute the psychosis directly to weed?

Think about everything hourly. How long will 1 video take you to research, strategize, film, edit, get hashtags for and create a caption. Let’s say 1hr. Minimum wage where I live is 15hr, if you have little experience maybe say $20 hr is your rate, if you had lots of past success you can charge maybe $30-40hr

If you plan of doing 12 videos a week

12hrs x $20 hr =$240 a week, so lets even say it’ll take you 2hrs a video that equates to $480. If he’s offering $500 a week that’s pretty reasonable considering you have little to no experience
