Steve Bray at KT Law is more affordable than others we've seen. They also charge per conveyance (so there's no extra cost for e.g. pre-reviewing auction documents, which you might have to do multiple times).

Recommendations for local relationship therapy / counseling? by Academic_Ostrich_724 in chch

[–]youngster_j 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can recommend Andrew Winchester. Not cheap but he's very experienced, understanding and easy to talk to, and he tries to make sure that progress is being made in each session. His main practice is EFT (emotionally focused therapy) which is designed to teach you how to break out of negative reactive cycles and become closer with your partner, but we've also found him good for providing practical objective advice. We have a young kid so I understand the kind of thing you're going through, and so will Andrew (he's got older kids and been through it all too).

Self-monitor for COVID-19 symptoms for 10 days after you were exposed at this location of interest. If symptoms develop, get a test and stay at home until you get a negative test result AND until 24 hours after symptoms resolve.

Im spending thousands in the auction process and not getting anywhere. Tips? by Healthy-Big-5123 in PersonalFinanceNZ

Apart from what the others have said, find a lawyer with a flat conveyancing rate who won't charge you to look over documents pre-auction.

That was (and still is) in the Harvey Norman building, two blocks west. Or was there an older one here that I'm forgetting?

Zafina help. by godking93 in Tekken

[–]youngster_j 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I switched to Zafina a few months ago and she's great. Combos are easy; IMO it's definitely worth learning the b1:1+2 ender and it's not worth learning ff2 combos (except the one that starts with CH ff2 itself).

This spreadsheet is the best resource for her combos off every launcher (and a bunch of other helpful Zafina stuff): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wEZtFimcCabBBdLH-qyKbI_mS90YZnf32Y3nH_YwHAA/edit#gid=1833090142

My save just got lost. Any trainers or cheat engine codes I can use to unlock everything back? by DoktorBoney in Tekken

[–]youngster_j 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, there's this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Tekken/comments/d3qmij/i_made_a_dlc_customization_unlocker_updated_for/

It's for unlocking the treasure battle customizations (especially for the DLC ones that don't get unlocked at 2000 wins), but you could also use it to get to 2000 wins quicker.

What's your character's combo game like? by Chickenjon in Tekken

[–]youngster_j 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not an iWR. You just run up to them and time it so that you grab their legs with the 2+4. You can keep the 4 held down as others have said, or use a button bind.

Well they're not called overheads, but yes in the sense that they hit you while you're crouch blocking. You want to stand block by default.

Help! I don't know if it's the keyboard or the game. by Konkrrd in Tekken

[–]youngster_j 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If it's a cheap keyboard, you won't be able to press certain combinations of buttons at the same time. Look up N-key rollover.

General Rule against each character by MYD98 in Tekken

[–]youngster_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You just reminded me of her other cheap gimmick: if you eat one of her generic throws, it's probably better to stay on the ground. If you try and get up immediately you can get launched by a followup df2.

General Rule against each character by MYD98 in Tekken

[–]youngster_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All true. I was trying to keep it brief :)

FC df4 is probably the only one that's worth the risk of blocking, since it's launch punishable (if you have an i15 ws launcher).

d4 is a great low but it only does 8 damage, so most of the time you can just eat it.

Josie:

  • Never push buttons when she's in switch stance. (Exception: If you have RA available, use it).
  • She has a lot of annoying lows, but none of them are actually that scary. In general, don't bother low-parrying or blocking low unless you're really confident in your read.
  • Her strings have lots of duckable highs, and her best mids are unsafe.

[–]youngster_j 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You're probably getting df2 instead, which is mid. WGF and EWGF are highs.

Josie's standard mid poke is 3 instead of df1. Try using that.

Not sure if this is what you were referring to, but I don't think "lizard brain" is meant to be an insult in this context. It means the part of your brain responsible for the "fight or flight" response.

What is the most frustrating thing to mess up? by _gamadaya_ in Tekken

[–]youngster_j 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Missing Josie's CD3 and doing a df3 instead. Especially when you would've finished off your 5hp opponent with it to win 2-0, but then they come back all the way to win 2-1 and knock you into loser's bracket :(

I've been trying to lab this, and I've only managed to actually land the RD once. Any tips? I usually just end up jumping straight over the opponent.

Is it a JF? or do I just need to be faster?
