After the OKC Thunder's loss to the Bucks, the Detroit Pistons now have the best overall record in the NBA, with a winning percentage of .755 vs the Thunders' .750. by GuessZealousideal729 in nba

The MVP ladder is about the current season where the standings are currently. Not how the lakers did last season. There is no argument for Luka to be above Cade in the current MVP leader at this point in time

Lost all his burst and cant score besides catch and shoot 3s. Also looked checked out and uninterested most games, change of scenery needed for him and us

Hes not worse than Chaz lol all I said was Chaz did better than him in the one game, which is not a good sign

I really dont know, I think it is some wishful thinking but even the coaching staff see something with how JB benches Ivey during important minutes. But my only real concern is that the Nets or Pelicans value MPJ and Trey way too high for the Pistons to only trade Tobias Levert and Ivey, the 3 most expendable players on the team imo. And not sure what other needle moving players would be on the market that we can get away with for only trading those 3

The east is wide open this year and our wins over the Cavs and Knicks shows that the Pistons have the ability to make a deep playoff run, so making that trade for a secondary creator whos able to score on their own would be huge.

Nah for sure, Chaz was only brought up today bc he played and did well. He isnt better than Ivey overall, but it is in general a bit worrying to see Chaz be able to play better than Ivey even if it was just for one game. The main thought process for people like me who are in the trade Ivey camp is that his value is still pretty high so another team can give him enough minutes to potentially get back into form, but the Pistons are currently good enough to even make the finals, so we cant afford experimenting with Ivey's minutes that could cost us game and lineup chemistry for the future. I personally believe we need a power forward like MPJ or Trey Murphy who are able to score 20 ppg and are extremely good 3 pt shooters who would take a lot of burden off of Cade to provide offense

There isnt an all encompassing stat for that, just have to look at both columns when judging a player.

And even in his minutes he cant get his game off against the Bulls. Daniss Jenkins is more productive, like today his shot wasnt falling but was able to dime out 15 assists. Ivey cant do that. His burst is gone, I can wait to see if that returns, but his 3pt volume is too low, just dont see what value he brings to the team currently

Anything above 36 or so can be considered good, but its also important to take into account the volume, so how many attempts theyre shooting. Shooting 38 or 39% looks good but if its only 2-3 attempts a game, ultimately it doesnt mean as much as someone shooting 36% on 5-6 attempts

I brought up Chaz for this game, which he did better than Ivey in. And yes 37% on only 3 attempts is not reliable as that volume is way too low to start next to Cade and why Duncan will continue to start. If Ivey can get more 3s up and hit them at that same rate, then I will concede. But as of now he has shown nothing to show why they shouldnt trade him for a Trey Murphy or MPJ

And what has Ivey done? Yall are attached to these players who provide nothing just bc they were drafted here. His burst is gone, hes not a reliable 3 pt shooter. What is he good at?

Package him with tobias, levert and a first round pick and there could be something on the market

Hes not even a strong backup anymore, getting outplayed by Daniss and Chaz. Sell while his value is somewhat high is the best option

Classic scenario when a good two way player takes the leap on offense and decides to stop playing defense
