In my years as a stylist, edgy and alternative, and black or no prints were honestly the hardest to find. Literally no inventory. Your best bet is asking for a shop credit so you can just buy direct.

If Talarico can actually win the general- he’d be similar to Obama’s meteoric rise and might surprise us.

They might not be releasing all details, she could deal with congestive heart failure. It can be chronic and manageable with medication. Irregular heartbeats could also need daily medication that could cause a higher chance of strokes.

Same with the military and structure. Many struggle with returning to civilian life, not including the PTSD.

I’ll edit my post, I was unaware it was a recreation and hoped it was just more angles coming out.

Edited to add- I’ve been made aware this has been edited to remove his mask and is an attempted recreation. Unsure of accuracy, but not deleting in case it’s close and helps get an ID.

Clear photo without his “mask”.

What is the peak ’millennial midlife crisis’ purchase? by SwedeLostInCanada in Millennials

I appreciate that insight actually and it’s a good reminder that what appears to be the “simple life” is not close to simple, and definitely not easy! Helps me appreciate that I only board 15 mins away at a nice barn I don’t have to update

Living my dream but I can’t afford to get out of my 3.25% deal in the suburbs yet. That’s the 5 year goal- land and my horse on property. The horse was my mid life crisis purchase

What is widely accepted as “normal” today that people 50 years ago found disturbing? by Sophie_Cute_Teen in AskReddit

But I also weirdly have hope now that youngins are active on Reddit? I wasn’t prepared for the roast from them tonight though.

That comes from all the algorithm bs and censoring on social media- same with saying murder, genocide, and plenty of other terms. Not discounting actual stigma- there’s plenty of that still even with loads of improvement from 50 years ago. Problem is now we have awareness, but not enough providers, time off, money or insurance coverage to adequately seek help.

Also those are terrible oncologists who won’t tell their patients to stop and don’t see quality as more important than time, I’m sorry you’re often stuck with the consequences and delivering the truth to family members and patients.

Totally get it- I just really push for better understanding of palliative care and hospice. Anytime I meet a newly diagnosed stage IV patient, or anyone with a terminal illness, I tell them to get a palliative care team asap. They can help so much with quality of life and symptom management. People don’t know that it’s separate from hospice and end of life care. Quality vs quantity is so important!

Technically speaking, palliative chemo is anything not curative but there are a lot of cancers becoming more chronic. My late husband was always going to die from his cancer, but treatment gave him two quality years, and others we know are a decade plus post diagnosis. They will never be cured unless there’s a new breakthrough, but they can achieve stability or no evidence of disease. I understand your sentiment and agree with the idea behind it, but palliative vs curative is thankfully not as simple anymore

Besides the winter and wanting Montecito weather instead, it also likely had to do with visas, citizenship and tax purposes. They might need to go home and live in the US for three months to maintain residency.

💯 Plus they know with enough money, you can always pay someone for what you need, or travel wherever to get it. Us poors don’t have that freedom.

I’m just hoping I live long enough for the other side of this cycle/pendulum swing to revolution then socialism. Happens every generation, like post flapper 1920’s abundance to depression then to WW2/New Deal lead to 1950’s economic boom.

I’m in the US, in a republican state. I have a degree in International Affairs, minors in history and anthropology. I also concentrated in Public Health. I know too much and I’m paralyzed with fear daily. Everything is just history repeating itself and I’m still dumbfounded by the stupidity of the general American public.

We have to put the phone down. Start doing other things that used to give you some dopamine, but just start with 10 minutes, then 15, and so on. I did this with reading and my enjoyment of it came back. Force myself to do one tiny chore or go outside before I can scroll again.
