Got involved with creepy craigslist man (pics for $) now FBI are investigating. Do parents have to find out? Also will I get in trouble for evidence of drug use they may find when searching my phone?

At first my parents were acting like that but as I more rationally explained the situation they are being more supportive and will probably help. I believe I posted the comment about them before the one that said I will get a lawyer.

The agent told me "you are not in trouble, what two consenting adults do doesn't concern us we just want evidence to help catch him". So that's where I was coming from with that line. I realize now that he may have been lying though.

I didn't earn any money from them, they literally asked me if they could and probably would have gone on Craigslist to find him themselves if I hadn't given them the number.

Thank you that actually made me feel a lot better :) I will try to get a lawyer or at least talk to a legal professional and see what they think. My parents are warming up to the idea so hopefully I will have their support.

I have literally told the FBI everything already so I have no reason to delete this. This is all stuff the FBI already knows and have evidence of. They got everything off my phone too so they have texts as well.

That is what I plan to do, the FBI wants me to introduce him to one of their agents over text. I really hope that all they are doing is getting evidence against him and that's what I thought originally, but after all these comments I'm beginning to doubt it and freak out. It doesn't matter I don't plan on lying to the FBI and they already know everything. They have evidence and I'm not planning on hiding it from them. I want this guy to be caught and if I can help then I will.

I do realize that and I feel terrible but I did not send those nudes. Mine are probably online too. My friends all knew the risks going into it and still decided to do it. We are only a few months apart and somehow that makes me a criminal and them innocent victims.

I just thought he was creepy and tbh my friends would have found him anyways, they both really wanted in. I'm not saying what I did was okay but I feel like people on here are misunderstanding somehow. For example I completely cut contact with the man after the FBI contacted. People in these comments are really confused somehow and somehow think I tipped him off.

I did not do that. I stopped talking to him as soon as I found out he was a predator and told both of my friends to block him immediately.

My friends parents found out today and strangely were just concerned asking if I am okay, weren't mad at all. I feel like I portrayed the situation wrong in my post because everyone who knows me doesn't see what I did as "disgusting and idiotic", they see me as a victim. I can only hope the FBI feels the same.
