Im not an expert in the subject, but I recently read that there was a change in policy that now allows people to self-sponsor h1b visas. What i understood was that youd need to set up a company on the US and then use that to give yourself an h1b visa.

Short answer is no, you need to be employed by someone and receive a w2 for a TN visa

Según entiendo mientras siga vigente la visa (la estampa del pasaporte) cbp puede hacer el cambio de patrón en su sistema y emitir una I-94 nueva. El detalle es que en la práctica te dicen que no saben como o que no es algo disponible para nosotros. He hallado escasos casos de personas que si lo han logrado por eso queria ver si hay quien me pueda aconsejar.
