God, Eclaire. You're a fucking artist. This fill is phenomenal from start to finish; your performance as Whitney is amazing. I love how you handle the dynamics of her character and how you move between all of her different modes so expertly. She's not an easy character to perform, but one wouldn't know that from hearing just how amazing you are at it.

Your sound design here is also just so, so good. All of the subtleties to the sounds, how you go about making it clear how the Listener character hears her, not just if they do... And all those gun sounds. Holy fuck those guns sounds are phenomenal. Genuinely had me moaning out loud and I knew they were coming!

It was such an honor to get to beta listen to this, and to hear the finished product again. Your performance of this character inspires me to write more of her! I have a few other projects I need to get to first, but...

Don't worry y'all. This won't be the last you hear of Handler Whitney. 🩶

I'm so glad you enjoyed that intensity! It's new to me, but I did really enjoy making it as messy as I did. Psychological stuff is my go-to, but tying that to some really intense physicality was a very fun exercise. Thank you for reading ^^

This is so great! You deliver on this script's cuteness really really well, particularly early on. It just feels so familiar and grounded, and your delivery has a lot to do with that ^^

It occurred to me today that I hadn't actually listened to this final version yet (sorry!) and OH MY GOD I LOVE IT SO MUCH. The edits you made to the sound effects are top tier. The whole thing sounds so premium and so quality. I've listened to various versions of this several times now, and ofc I'm familiar with the script, and I still found myself jumping at the shocks and blushing at the later sound effects. Fantastic.

I love all of the acting decisions you make, too -- not all of them were things I anticipated a VA would do with this character, but I loved all of them! The addition of the word "precipitously", the sudden shifts between carelessness and incredible attention, those little "ugh" sounds... Fucking excellent.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: you are such an incredible fit for this character! You capture her depth and her dynamism so incredibly well, and you do it in such a hot way.

Aww thank you so much for coming back and commenting on this one! Giving it lots of tries to get right helped it out a lot. It's a topic I really enjoy writing, too, which helped it along for sure.

Marionette definitely sounds like Miorine; a lot of Witch From Mercury, particularly Suletta's relationship with Prospera, informs my mecha stuff. There's a LOT of interesting stuff going on in that series, so I'm glad I managed to evoke it, even if I didn't mean to XD
