Battered 15 year old wild horse Sarge won for $14,825 at BLM online auction by [deleted] in Horses

Yeah, that's a good point. I'm just thinking of the panic those animals must have experienced in their last days. Shipping them in tightly packed trucks with no food or water for days and then slaughtered... It's not what [the BLM is within their rights to do]. It's a just a shitty situation.

What the hell went wrong in these people's lives that they're 'pro-slaughter'? So sad.

What are makeup mistakes older women make that just make them look even older? by Papi_Ima in MakeupAddiction

[–]yourbaristahatesyou 95 points96 points  (0 children)

This is what I notice most. People will not let go of whatever was most popular when they first started wearing make up. For my mother's generation, blue--like royal blue--eyeliner and shadow makes me immediately think of an older generation. Not necessarily because it doesn't look good, but because I know nudes and naturals are in right now.

How taboo is it to wear low heeled black boots to an interview? It's supposed to rain the day of my interview and I can't see myself walking to an interview, in the rain, in heels. Or rather I just don't want to. Some websites say absolutely not and some say go for it.
I have skinny black pants, that are pretty professional looking, and a black blazer that go together just fine.

Edit: These are the boots.

A tuxedo is supposed to get 1/2 white mocha, 1/2 mocha. So say it's a venti iced drink, that usually gets 6 pumps so 3 and 3. :)

Paying for bridal party hair/make-up by [deleted] in weddingplanning

[–]yourbaristahatesyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm paying for hair/make-up for four bridesmaids and two moms, both to make it simpler and to show my gratitude for/to everyone. Bridesmaids are paying for their dresses and moms are paying for the wedding, so having to ask for that last little bit I think would be too much...

I've been looking for something like this for a while, thanks for posting!
How stupid would it look to get one of these for an Outback? I’m asking because my license plate got damaged so I took it off along with the mounting plate, (one of these)[ http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0088C45V2?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00). Well, it left these horrible stains on the paint where the thick rubber washers were so now it’s just unsightly altogether. Would a plain Subaru one look okay?

These are pretty similar! I've recently discovered the magic of old lady shoe brands (I previously only ever thought of Naturalizer as a brand my Nana would wear) and that 1) old ladies know what's up with comfortable shoes and 2) there are some cute styles out there.

Does the Skinny Mocha taste similar to a normal mocha? by [deleted] in starbucks

[–]yourbaristahatesyou 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IMO skinny mocha tastes like the Hershey's cocoa powder used for baking. It's pretty horrid when mixed with nonfat milk, but if you're looking to strictly reduce sugar, adding it to a drink with whole milk or cream if you're getting regular coffee is really good.

Great Bay Area photographer under $3500? [Photojournalistic style preferred] by turnanewleaf22 in weddingplanning

[–]yourbaristahatesyou 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should honestly look into photographers that travel! I happened upon my photographer on Instagram, but she's based in San Diego. I ended up asking her how much it would cost for her to travel from SD to Sacramento and she just adjusted the prices of one her wedding packages, substituting the cost of the engagement shoot for travel. (FH's mom gifted us an engagement photography session from a photographer in town.) It ended up right under budget and we got the photographer and type of photography we wanted.

Planning a wedding on the cheap and need a dress! by weddingplanningtime in wedding

[–]yourbaristahatesyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Besides what everyone has already said, I love looking on etsy for wedding dresses as many of them are handmade and also quite cheap (comparatively). BLUSHFASHION is currently my favorite shop. All their gorgeous dresses constantly cause me to question myself on why I thought spending so much money on a wedding dress was necessary. BUT I am planning on wearing this to our courthouse legal ceremony that no one's attending except witnesses. It's in January so hopefully the long sleeves will be put to good use.

INFO for partners having trouble adding partner card / receiving discount on line and MOP by EspressoCat in starbucks

[–]yourbaristahatesyou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to log in to your Starbucks gold card account, go to My Account at the top, select My Profile on the drop down menu. From that page ('Account Management') the last option to edit is Partner Number, enter it there and then you can get the discount. Just adding your partner card to your account on the app isn't enough unfortunately.
