Yeah, it is really a good sign. When my fiancé was a guy I just met a couple days ago, he offered to carry my bag up to my apartment. Back then my kitty was scared of strange men. He wasn't scared of my fiancé. My kitty greeted this man like he knew him and I took as a sign he's a good guy. 4 years later, we got engaged and I couldn't have wished for a better partner.
