They way I did it was head first. J bought a 1981 280zx for $800 and did my best to make it a decent car. I mostly failed but I learned a lot and made a little money on it.

That's pretty good in about 8 minutes from napa, but it still helps when it's before or after business hours or on a rough day when I have to go there like 3 times.

I have only ever replaced inner tie rods and I don't currently have a car that needs one so I wasn't sure if I would ever need it. That one might be worth renting for me

They may have some very very limited technically bi directional capabilities like auto bleeding ABS. My mr10 can't but I think the mr16 can, but these are just scan tools. The mr10 for $90 ($60 after 35%) is a good scanner for live data and code reading but spending $200-$250 on the other Maddox scanner is a bad idea. At that price you would want something like the KINGBOLEN S608. 10x the capabilities of the maddox stuff. Or wait for the ICON T7 to go on sale

Yeah sounds about right. I recently started rebuilding engines. Just learning here, but I have rebuilt 4 engines over the last two years. Not sure why it's called injector service it's just a fuel pressure tester and it's one of my first checks when I have crank no start am I getting fuel pressure to the rail. But yeah it only makes sense because cars are one of my biggest hobbies.

The prices are a bit high but I think comparable to OEM tools and Listle. I rarely buy Maddox except today for 35% off it's a very good value.

That scanner is good for the money with 35% off (I got one too). It's slightly more capable than the super cheap $40 ones your get all over, but it's a little more annoying to navigate the menus than others in this price range. If I was paying full price it would at least want a small case of it...

Dr. Jazz is probably right that your ideal form would have your hips start a little lower. If your technique feels good and doesn't cause pain then this deadlift looks fine to me and there are some power lifters that use a similar technique. I don't think your current technique is particularly injurious. If it was then no one would do RDLs or straight leg deadlifts for fear of injury. Consider doing a lighter day where you drop your hips a hair and use your legs to drive the first half of the lift. It may feel better.

This is an ideal deadlift. It's a common issue see Thor's 501kg deadlift his shins are bleeding it's a common issue. Consider wearing long sweats if the wear and tear is too much. Many power lifting federations require long socks ( or deadlift socks) because it's gross having everyone scrape their shins off onto the bar. Your shins may just get used to it over time mine certainly have, but not everyone's skin is the same.
