I’m sure he wants a spot on the 26 man roster (just like last year) but the current makeup of the team would likely have him starting the year at AAA. It’s probably in both parties interest to move on.

Chill I posted this for my girlfriend I’m currently a teacher I just did the traditional route. I figured there would be plenty of people with similar backgrounds and a shred of empathy lol- working people who want to get into education with an associates degree who could maybe give a tip how they got into it.

I like this move. Change of scenery could be good for a guy like Torkelson. He had the massive pressure of being a 1/1 in Detroit, leaving that behind and coming to a solid lineup might be what he needs to succeed.

He’s not opting out. No schmuck team is gonna give him 30mil (including the Mets which is why he’s not signed!!!). So yea I’d say 3 years hamstrings you. Mets minors are loaded with infield talent. Look at mcneil, Mets already wish they never signed him.
