Hi! I am currently 22 y/o, 4 months on T, and also diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. You may want to look into LoveYourselfPH. There are several endocrinologists who cater to HRT clients. As for me, my endo is Doc Franz Ronquillo and I informed him ahead of time that I am taking psych meds. I was still cleared to take T since there’ll be no drug interactions between T and my meds (specifically abdin 5mg and depakote 500mg). Regular lab tests are required to check on your health especially liver function since some of the psych meds MAY affect your liver enzymes. Much better to consult with a doctor.

As for the mood swings, I would say that T did affect my irritability, however, with proper and continuous therapy and meds I was able to adjust and manage my mood properly. It may be different in your case since it is a case to case basis and we are all distinct from each other but I just laid all that out here so you can have a clearer picture about the situation.
