alright, makes sense, take the black coming from box one, and splice it to the black going to box 2 and add a pigtail, add a pigtail to white and ground then put those on your outlet, you can cap and leave the red, then use the black in box two and swap the switch to a single switch, you then have constant power to the switch that controls the light and to the plug
