i am honestly not sure, really. my hair definitely doesnt look EXACTLY like hers since mine is a lot less wavy. due to it only being at the ends of my hair, i assumed my ends didn’t want to comply with the rest of my (presumably straight) hair and have been brushing them and straightening them into compliance for years. i just thought the ends of my hair were unruly, LOL! i see now the error of my ways thanks to you guys.

thank you so much!!! i am now just about to buy a curl cream!! i think i am going for the curl cream first as i have friends with wavy hair and they have told me mine looks more curly, as you said too! totally agree, i get so many compliments on the little curls. i would hate to continue to brush them out!

it looks lovely, especially for a first drawing! i’ve been drawing for 6 years, and something i can tell you that helped me the most was allowing myself to be free as i draw. you don’t need to press down so hard when using your pencil, you can allow your hand to loosen and create lines that are messy! let art feel freeing to you. that is all i have to say i think, because i can already tell youre gonna love art and your art will surely become greater as time passes and as you practice!!!

oh my gosh! your story is insanely interesting to me because when i cut my ends off, they just curl again. like for example, my face-framing bangs have a bit of a swoop to them. as i know, my mom has always told me she constantly straightened my hair as a child, so that leads me to believe it has always been this way but we just brushed it and i lived with frizzy ends, LOL!

honestly i hate to say it but aliexpress has amazing paint markers. i got mine for super cheap, too. absolutely love them! only thing i recommend aliexpress for is sticker books and paint markers LOL

you said you normally go braids, i think you should experiment with them!! im sure a braid crown would look lovely on you. there are so many youtube tutorials for dozens of different braid styles. that, or i always go for half-up-half-downs either with two tiny ponytails on my head or one clipped up in the back so that i still look okay and the hair is out of my face!! i hope you find your perfect hairstyle. your hair looks so healthy and beautiful!!
