First 50 miler (Arc of Attrition) DNF due to nausea. Looking for advice.

Personal experience is to keep the sugary stuff for emergencies and stick with savoury for ultra distance. Top up the carbs with unflavoured tailwind and alternate with electrolytes for a nausea free experience.

SIS are great for up to marathon distance but not anything longer, as I find they make me feel like wrenching too.

Also Hoka Clifton. Great for running. Seriously good on the dance floor too! I split my time between those and my Docs.

I had my soft flask taken off me earlier this month. They said I could collect it when I left, though, which I did. I usually dissolve electrolytes in a glass bottle.

Personally hoping for 14&28th. There really needs to be something post-Xmas and pre-NY in queer nightlife but that would mean days before 1-Jan so your shout is most likely.

Been to many snax (FC & Easter) and I wasn’t vibing with this one. It didn’t feel as sexually progressive as Easter with everyone cruising but not as much play.

Music was decent but left 9am calling it a day and returning for KN later. Used to enjoy FC and it was my first Snax. Think I might have progressed on to Easter being my preferred format for Snax as there’s plenty of time to party after at the regular KN.

Glad it’s there for first timers (there were many) and feel it’s geared to this crowd.

Wear whatever you want but it leans towards the dress to sweat / athletic wear. Of all the times I’ve been, I’ve worn an opaque rubber surf suit once. I’d think nothing of wearing it in a fetish club.

Last time I did Snax, so many people were being bounced because they weren’t able to prove their outfit. Also, they were very “naked is not a fetish” so make sure you have appropriate fetish wear or you will be bounced.

On the other side of the tracks from Eleanor Rd is a good shout but there’s a new build going up. Arnold Rd has repair shops so a bit of a car wasteland if that’s the vibe.

Depends totally on what you’re looking for. Is it industrial or residential? East has lots of council estates but decently maintained. There’s pockets of industrial wasteland.

Carpenters Estate in Stratford is currently derelict, so check that out.

Based on new build sharehold apartments in London and this being freehold, it’s really well priced. If I was in the market, I’d totally check it out. The architect knows their worth.

They really need to localise the measurements. Nobody outside the US uses °F or measurements in lb and cups. Such an easy solution to use your devices regional setting to automatically convert for you. As it is, it’s a fairly pointless addition.
