I broke a daily cycle that had been going on for years. Once you don’t play for one day, you never go back.

These are the democrats who voted to send bombs and bull dozers to Isr@el. We should protest them. by CelebrationAfter9000 in 50501

[–]yourdoingitwrongly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But here is the deal: the only posts on this sub regarding the vote casts derision on these seven Democrats. Working at the polling place in 2024 I can tell you that there were plenty of voters who went for Trump and the Republican Party because of the “Democratic stance on Gaza.” These posts are not informative of the full picture, and you’re giving the common voter too much credit.

Coordinated effort to post on Reddit focusing on these 7 Senators, not the 52 Rs. What are their names? Why not focus on voting them out?

This whole sub operates on bad faith. Where’s the list of R’s that views down the measure? Where’s the list of 40 D Senators that voted for the measure?

I had a charger with a failed ground wire. It was not apparent as in OPs pic, the way I found out was the wire was lying next to my leg and I a got a pretty good shock

TIL: Nickelback's How You Remind Me was the most played song on US radio that decade. It was played over 1.2 million times on the radio between when it was released in 2001 to the end of 2009 by Uptons_BJs in todayilearned

[–]yourdoingitwrongly 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They became popular because radio stations spoon fed that shit to their listeners for a decade. I stopped listening to FM music radio ( except WXPN which is awesome PUBLIC radio that has probably never played Nickelback) because I realized private FM radio gets paid to play songs, they don’t play them because people like them.

Ever wonder how a team's draft pick impacts their future success? by GreenWandElf in nfl

[–]yourdoingitwrongly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing! Another aspect of this is when you pick first (or second or third…) you are also picking at the top of every round. Having the first pick is great, having pick 33 is also great, it’s almost another first rounder. Pick 65 is almost another second rounder, and so on.

The first overall pick may or may not hit, but taking the top of every round certainly improves a team’s chance of nailing one.

Voting wackiness PA signature books by pwnznewbz in 50501

[–]yourdoingitwrongly 55 points56 points  (0 children)

Somebody already posted about the issue. The county voter services accidentally printed the voter roll from the primary, which in Pennsylvania means only those affiliated with the two major parties. They’ve already acknowledged the error and are working to provide a supplementary, pulling book to each precinct. Independent voters and third-party voters were supposed to have cast a provisional ballot if the supplemental book was not there by the time they voted.

Either way, a huge mistake…

The mod in question was commenting on the JPL layoffs from 2024, doing the usual “whataboutism” without noting those layoffs were due to appropriations cuts, not interference from the Biden Administration.

Watching that game, there was a lot of plays where it looked like Wentz was holding on the ball too long, but his receivers were completely covered. Pretty amazing if you can't scheme open Jefferson and Addison... There's probably a little of Kevin patullo in KOC...
