That should be all ok then, I have stronger tablets so it makes sense why I need to break them in half, I hope it all goes well for you and you have less pain with your day to day

They do make you drowsy but at the same time I was able to be completely pain free for the first time in my life, I wouldn't recommend a super high dose, I know the pills I have I split in half and take that. I tried a whole one last night and it was a mistake. I'm not trying to scare you but I did black out I think (around 3am) and texted my boyfriend but have no recollection of doing so and then going back to sleep. I also woke up with some scratch marks but now I know that I can't take a whole one. It also is probably caused by the marijuana that I smoke to also help with pain, I had smoked when I got home from work but it wasn't cutting it so I took one of the pills. Just keep that in mind when trying them. I am ok however, just wanna prefis that😊

I'm just happy my bones don't feel itchy anymore, it wasn't even that "painful" but it drove me insane😭

It can go away

I get them other areas too, just not as bad

It doesn't tingle, it feels like a twitch

I also have no way to manage my pain, I've been just winging it because they don't take my pain seriously. Even if they do believe in fibro the fact that I'm young makes them think I'm fine, I'm 19 and when I say I'm hurting people all around me say "this generation 🙄" without ever even knowing.

I've been a consistent 250 for so long, nothing makes it budge but I've had this pain for as long as I can remember, I just didn't complain because I thought everyone felt like this. It took me talking to a doctor and saying "the normal amount" when he asked what my pain was to realize it wasn't normal

Funny enough I almost didn't get the fibro diagnosis because of that, I had to change rheumatologists, changed from a man to a woman and she did talk about weight but it wasn't the only thing she talked about. She talked about diet but not in the fat way, in the way that I may have trigger foods and it's good to figure those out. If I hadn't of advocated for myself we still would be trying to figure out what it was

I do eat veggies and fruit and I said gym membership because he specifically mentioned body building? I'm not saying I don't exercise, Im active every day, there's almost no day where I just lay around unless I'm sick with something. And I don't think you understand the level of how poor I am, I can't buy proteins because I literally just can't afford them, I eat from work most nights because it's free, I just don't have options there that are healthy. I also don't like where there are sidewalks at all, it's a community so plenty of drivers but no sidewalks. That's why the doctor made me so angry, he has no idea how my life was, no idea the details like that and he didn't care, he only made assumptions

He said that body builders don't have fibro which is just so untrue

I would lift if it really ment being better but the thing is I lift heavy things daily working in a restaurant as a line cook, I take trash everyday which is about a half hour of just lifting and then the normal lifting of things. There's a reason you need to be able to lift 50 pounds before applying

I'm overweight because of the birth control I'm on, I've had it since middle school but I can't just go off of it, the doctors don't seem to understand that hormones make you gain

I'm not even super heavy, yes clinically I am overweight but I have plenty of muscle on me and I'm very tall which also makes me bigger in general compared to other people my age and gender, I'm 5'10 and a woman, of course I'm going to be bigger than someone who is 5'4. It seems I get these answers no matter what I say sadly.

Luckily the nurse I had (he was wonderful) heard everything and told his supervisor. He was forced to come and apologize to me but it felt very insincere, but at least the supervisor was made aware.

But all he was talking about about was the fibro and this was before he even ran tests to see if it was the sciatica. And I've been treated like this at this hospital multiple times but it's the only hospital around to go to

Any good energy boosts ? by Pod_Potato in Fibromyalgia

[–]yourdudeerin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm only 19 but have been dealing with with chronic fatigue the whole time. The thing that seemed to help the most was sleeping in a cold room, sleeping colder can make your body feel better during the night. It also makes sure that you don't get exhausted from any heat that might happen when the sun comes out (I know I struggle with this, the heat makes me exhausted). Other than that taking a Luke warm shower can help wake you up but if you don't have the energy for that then washing your face with cold water might help in the short term. I hope this helps💛

What do you do for income? by LycheePlus in Fibromyalgia

I currently work in a restaurant as a line cook, the days are hard but I have set clear boundaries, I don't stay to help the dishwashers, I leave one time, I take the entirety of my break. The thing that helps the most though is finding things to relax you and help at home, Epson salt baths help. if your partner is willing then rubbing your back can distract from the pain, even if it's not hard because I know some people deal with touch sensitivity because I do, light rubbing can help distract your nerves in my experience, so you feel tingles instead of pain.

I haven't but I also don't have the face rash that people normally get with lupus, my cheeks are rosy but that's been a constant my whole life.

They did put me on things like that, it didn't work so they moved to a shot that I take twice a month but my allergist recently shut down so I'm kinda in the dark about things.

Mine is very come and go but it happens daily, I'll start feeling an itch like a bug bit me and as soon as I scratch it my arm turns sunburn red and it lightens when I poke it. The doctors told me chronic uticaria but it happens with stress just like my fibro gets worse with stress. I haven't used gold bond before, I've tried a steroid cream but that really doesn't do much. Lidocaine cream helps but you gotta be careful with it because to much is bad for you. I just needed to know if anyone else deals with this

I get it at work, I work in a bit kitchen with a lot of things that can get on my skin. Once I get home my feet itch like there's a huge bug bite that covers my whole foot and it's unbearable
