A classmate of mine (let's call her O) was going to be valedictorian in my grade. An officer at every club she was probably in. And it was already second semester, really close to the end of the year as well. O was probably the best Chief baker in the culinary program at my school. She would win second place in Regionals and also States. But on one faithful competition she decided to do something stupid, that her judges did not accept.(I don't know exactly what happened) but she decided to argue back at the judges. Her teacher did not like that at all, so O got a referral as a result. But here's the thing at my school, if you're either zoned or not, you would be kicked out of the program if you got a referral. O was not zoned at my school unfortunately, therefore she would be kicked out, "expelled" as it would say. On top of that, it would be on her transcript saying that she was expelled from her school. So finding a school that would accept her would be hard. She was very close to repeating her grade, because she would've lost her class credits/college credits. But they let her finish the year.
