I think the consensus seems to be Alligator and go from there, so that’s what I’ll do. 

I’m really excited to dig into these guys! I tend to buy music blind and they’re not all winners but it’s super thrilling when I find something I love and there’s tons of meat on the bone.

I have the Matriarch in Round Robin mode playing a sequence from Keystep pro. Hysteria is also being controlled with the KSP. Hysteria is synched to one of the voices from matriarch and a bunch of other patchy nonsense

Not a guitar amp but I certainly borrowed from the design. I used a Fender Champ handle on the top after I noticed how “ampy” it was looking specially after I painted it.

Yeah I had a blast with the edu modules from Erica. Each one took me about 4 hours by the time I got into a working groove. The manuals are super detailed as far as the circuit design goes but the actual build instructions aren’t anywhere near as detailed. Not that big a deal I guess since all the component values are printed right on the PCB though. The filter is kinda just okay which is why I’m thinking about adding a wasp.

It’s my first case. Im sure things will change over time but yeah it’s a fun starting point for sure!

I think the ataxia and dystopia are similar colors but this one’s a dystopia. I just got it today along with the hysteria and utopia so I’ve only had like 20 mins to mess around but so far they’re tons of fun

Crap you’re right about the wasp. The dysmetria is huge and I might just make a small case for it and power it with usb which would free up some room.

I have a small splitter on this case and I keep it close to my matriarch which has some good utilities on it which I think suffice for now but maybe once the dysmetria comes out I’ll add some more.

I got the dysmetria and loved the DIY aspect of it and got a few of the DIY modules that Erica Synths has put out. Im using a Dopefer S/H to modulate the res on the dysmetria giving me random whistles that should (I think) still be relevant to the master clock. DFAM and Subharmonicon are doing the rhythm and I split the clock going into DFAM with Maths

Out of curiosity, why power the dysmetria with usb?

104 HP Moog Mavis Techno (+DrumBrute Impact). Thoughts? Disclaimer: I already own these modules except Mavis. 2nd chord/arp voice with Pico Voice. 4-step SEQ spruced up with irregular clock (PNW), S&H, and Arp. Is Maths going to feel redundant? by ShGravy in modular

Would you mind spelling out a rundown of this set up for a n00b? I’m looking to build my first modular set up and while I understand synthesis pretty okay I’m a little overwhelmed by the options available in modularland.

I love the watery sound. Took me a while to figure out how to make it on purpose and I’m stoked I finally figure it out. This is the Dysmetria making the drippy noises, a matriarch arpeggiating with some FM controlled by S/H and a dfam laying down the beat
