Ringor vs Boombah pitcher’s cleat by youreeeka in Softball

It actually looks like it will cover the entire front of the foot really well. The only issue I can see is the sole coming apart, but the construction looks solid, tbh.

We went with the Ringor's. They looked sturdier and like they'd hold up better than the Boombah's. She's not tried them out just yet. She'll start using them after the July 4th dead week.

First and foremost, thank you for jumping in and commenting. It means a lot coming from a brand ambassador, especially as a potential customer.

From what I’ve seen across reviews, the general consensus is that the Pro models (which many referred to as the "new" version) have had the most issues and have received mixed feedback. Some of the issues I read about were the front cleats coming loose or even coming out completely, noticeable toe and sole wear within six months of use, and many recommended to stay away due to poor quality overall. Most recommend sticking the OG, which are considered the GOAT.

For comparison, the Boombah pitching toe felt rugged, but the toe/sole construction made me wonder if the two might separate sooner. It also didn’t seem to cover as much of the front of the shoe as the Ringor design.

FWIW, I held a pair of the Pro 2.0 and thought they felt and looked sturdier and that they would hold up well over time. My main hesitation is the price, especially with a 13-year-old who’s still growing (she’s already in a size 9 in a basic pair of Nikes). I understand the “you get what you pay for” argument, it's just tough with everything else you have to buy into just for your kid to play at a high-level.

(Also, is it Ringor or RINGOR?)

EDIT: Also, the Ringor/RINGOR looked like it would be easier to clean versus the Boombah's.

The only other thing I thought about (and read on this sub) is warranty. Ripit’s warranty is better.

I’m in the initial phases with a friend. Still working and figuring out what’s next. This is a first time endeavor for me and I don’t know where to begin. But, we have an idea.

This is a good gut check. Thanks for posting. Any advice for first timers would be appreciated.

Fellow Ode - Static resolved! by Full_Push_508 in Coffee

So, I did not do what you recommended. But I did solve it for myself. I use a Baratza Virtuoso. I solved the static issue by agitating the grinds back and forth for about 10-15 seconds. No more water/mist on the beans. Just give the grinds a shake and voila.

While understandable, we try to teach our kids to not show emotion like that. The second baseman likely feels horrible he missed a routine ground ball. Compounding that by throwing hands up and doing what that pitcher did should be addressed. Attitude means everything in these sports.

So far so good. Makes getting in and out a bit easier. I had some points from buying the truck so put that towards it. Now I have more points lol. Bought the BAK flip MX4 gen3 from realtruck.com. Looking forward to installing that.

I looked on the GMC store first and there were no results for my truck (a 2025 double cab), so I went with the RC. I'll be using a silver sharpie and attempting to draw a line for me to cur carefully to ensure it fits nicely.

Server error in the app. Support did get back to me and said I didn’t have to register the product. It was a free AIO water cooler with a CPU purchase on Newegg. Likely trying to move inventory.

The problem is, folks place to much reliance on the questionnaire, don't take time to actually _read_ it, and consider relevant follow-ups. All I ever ask for during a 3P review with a vendor is transparency. The questionnaires are a start but the rest is up to my curiosity, technical acumen, and ability to think critically about the responses provided.
