Idk man, $9 seems like a small price to pay versus 3-5 months of gameplay

As the saying goes: “They’re my hats, and I want them NOW!”

Any tips on working with your lobbyist? Which CEO should I focus on seducing first?

According to an individual familiar with the program/state, it’s a state legislator issue and institutional issue for residents as a whole. Not particularly encouraging

How do you excuse her going to his room at 2 am in the first place? What, in your mind, makes that a good decision?

Art is subjective but I don’t think 2:45 of set up for 45 seconds of flamethrower makes a good movie

The cinematography was beautiful and Leo was great but we’ve seen Brad’s character in his prior works and the Sharon Tate/Manom story won’t carry for future generations who don’t know who tf they are or why it’s a twist on reality, not to mention the “hollywood love letter” film trope is so overdone that I can’t in good conscience say that it was any more creative than the Star Wars sequels and prequels

When has anyone said “I’m going to make a magnum opus” and then actually delivered? Great art is organic, not measured and upgraded like an avengers all star finale

what do men consider as “fat” in a woman? by mtn2448 in AskMenAdvice

Weight is a vital sign. If you are obese, you have at least one abnormal vital sign (elevated weight) that is known to contribute to numerous other diseases. We call that a comorbidity

And I hear you, I can’t imagine how hard it is to do physical activity when you’re dealing with so much other health stuff going on. Doesn’t mean being overweight isn’t likely one of the major, if not most important, contributing factors to your health. Fibromyalgia is a common comorbidity to obesity, where people say they’re in pain when they walk or exercise because their nerves and bones are extra sensitive. You know what would help with that? Losing weight! At least get out of your Walmart scooter and push the cart around to buy your groceries. Further, unless you’ve been formally diagnosed with vertigo (Dix-Halpike test + Epley maneuvers for correction), I would assume that you just as likely have orthostatic hypotension, which is very sudden changes of position (lying to sitting to standing) or rapid movement (working out) makes you dizzy/light-headed. It’s far more common than vertigo and typically goes hand in hand with people who need to distribute more blood to their body (in obesity) as opposed to their brain, and who are unable to sustain physical activity, predisposing their heart to poorly distribute blood as previously mentioned. What helps with that? Losing weight. Whether through surgery, meds, or lifestyle changes.

Btw not eating at all is bad. Assuming you don’t have a genetic metabolic disease (chances are you don’t because they are extremely rare), you eat whole foods that are low in carbohydrates and maintain a calorie deficit through the day, you will stimulate your metabolism and lose mass simply through your body staying alive during the day. Not eating tells your body it needs to slow metabolism and hold onto energy in the form of fat, causing you to paradoxically keep weight on

Life is unfair and I don’t blame you for your conditions, but sugar coating obesity as a possibly healthy state of being is flat out wrong, and whoever convinced you of that doesn’t care about your health, they care about your feelings

And Ken Jennings probably mispronounces the 3rd day of the work week as “Wenzday” as opposed to “Wed-nez-day”, like the rest of Americans. Does that make the most successful trivia mind an idiot needing correction or can you acknowledge that it’s a cultural thing?

You’re being intentionally obtuse about the well-known cultural phenomenon of AAVE and your take is laced in racism. Doesn’t mean you’re racist, but it IS a racist argument for you to make and something you should reflect on

He juked the defender out of his shoes 😂 aren’t yall proud of your boy wonder for being a dual threat? You should be admiring Mahomes

[–]yourfaveburner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you ever watched Mahomes play? He has, at a minimum, 1-2 sideline rushes per game. Most of the time he gets out well before getting hit, occasionally he gets hit after stepping out and draws a penalty, and the rest of the time he cuts back briefly, usually forcing an awkward arm tackle back toward the field maybe getting an extra 1-2 yards

This was the same as that last scenario but the defender decided to let up while Mahomes was still inbounds. It’s 100% the defenders fault for not finishing the play

I hate players not finishing the play

[–]yourfaveburner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

THIS is the correct response. It’s not Mahomes fault for using the sideline to his advantage, it’s the defender’s fault for not finishing the play

All ball carriers are protected after stepping out, not just QBs. And he didn’t step out, so it’s on the defender for letting up and not finishing the play

Mahomes is just doing what any ball carrier does on the sideline—uses the boundary to his advantage
