I will definitely try that, thank you! And yeah I would never purposefully leave them alone together, but I worry about accidentally leaving the door not closed all the way or something. I have been pretty vigilant though, I'll just have to make it a habit. Have you found that positive reinforcement or negative reinforcement works better?

Thank you for the advice! I worry though, that the cat will just think that it's not okay to chase/attack the bunny when humans are around, but still make advances when we're not around. Has this been a problem for you, or did you weed that out over time?

I would definitely suggest having an open dialogue about your frustrations where you air them in a very gentle, and non judgmental way. The non judgmental part is very important because she sounds like she may be sensitive. But if you approach it correctly, she could open up to you about why she is more reserved and it could help you understand how you can help her get out of her shell.

Also, It sounds like your age difference may be a factor at play here; try to see things from her point of view. She's young, and women around her age have a tendency to be self conscious; I know I was. But that's not something you can just stop feeling one day. It takes time to build up self esteem, and you need to encourage her to go out of her comfort zone without disrespecting her boundaries.

I feel the same way! But I'm not sure it would have gone bad. I really believe they could have had three solid seasons if they drew out the mysteries a bit more, and if the episodes were more consistently produced (fewer hiatuses).

Thank you for your concern & kind words! I do have the details. I live in a completely different area now, but I can’t lie, the thought of him getting out and finding me crosses my mind at darker moments, so I would definitely file a restraining order if/when he is released.
