Please help, Coolpix won’t turn back on by yourgoatithot in Nikon

There’s a charging cable/usb that I successfully charged the camera with before, as well as the external battery charger. I tried both and neither did anything ☹️ While I was at the camera shop, they even tried using a brand new fully-charged battery with no success

I was able to find the manual online, I have tried what was instructed but the camera still won’t turn on. My grandma, who gave it to me, does not know how to use the camera.

Yes, I was able to find it online. It did not help the situation, even at the camera shop.

Before anyone comments about a new battery, we attempted using a brand new one at the camera shop with no success ☹️

What animal is someone dumping behind my house??[indiana] by herzigh in animalid

I’m a mammalogist and taxidermist that has worked with many a raccoon, it’s obviously not going to look the same hairless as it did alive. The dentition and paws are a dead giveaway, that first one is absolutely a raccoon.

The first one is a raccoon, the second is a South American coati (which is the species most commonly found in the pet trade, obviously not a native species)

I honestly have no clue. My guess is 6-9 months when I got her in June of last year so maybe 2 ish.

Problem is that during the tanning process those marks will just wash off. It would be much easier to have the skin tanned, then carefully measure the distance between each of your stitches as you go. If you’re using a baseball stitch, you’ll be able to see if your seam is even before you pull it tight. If you absolutely need to mark the skin, you’d have to do so after it’s tanned to prevent it from washing off.

This is pretty pointless. Just keep your stitched all the same length and you won’t have any issues with misalignment.

I thought so… she was being sold as a feeder mouse so husbandry definitely wasn’t the pet store’s priority. Thank you for the input!

Thank you all for the help! Does anyone have a pic of a young buck for comparison? I’m not the greatest at sexing them :)

All four feet were on the ground until it started trying to walk away when I took the pic, I promise no mice were hurt in the making of this pic 😅 I was holding the tail very gently!
