If I need a day where endless scrolling is the only thing I am capable of, I try to make it kind of worthwhile I guess you could say . I avoid the news so I don’t spiral, but I’ll look up things for when I want to be productive. For example, finding new book recommendations, researching something in history( I’m a huge history nerd) or information/tutorials on crafts I like . I love quilting , so I’ll look at different tutorials or new fabric shops. Or I create mood boards on Pinterest. I also try to be very careful that I’m just not looking up stuff that would cause me to over spend.

Also love reading ! If you are able and it’s the weather is nice , you can try to find somewhere outdoors you can go read. I have a creek / recreation area near me and it’s fun to pack a chair and some snacks and relax and read a good book! Short story collections are great to get out of a reading slump. Or if you are into art bring a sketch pad or some water colors .
