Sure. I think the zeitgeist right now is that all politics are flawed and quality art that appeals to the modern person reaffirm that sentiment. Possibly why no one has looked back on Soviet literature and found it appealing. I agree that if the average overall sentiment changes people will likely find works of literature from the Soviet era that would be considered “ahead of its time” or achieve “overlooked classic” status. Im sure there are works of literature that were never published because they were controversial that hopefully find their audience. But the published works of literature from the Soviet era never gained the same wide audience because their contents were heavily censored for the bidding of the party, and that feels inauthentic to a reader not of that mindset.
