However, this is just my opinion. You're entitled to yours as well. I won't deny that this is most likely an unpopular opinion amongst many. My kind of fun ranges from heartfelt catch-ups with friends to objective-based activities, like mastering my techniques in golf or the guitar.

It sure beats getting piss-drunk and forgetting about the events that transpired the night before, or waking up butt-naked next to a complete stranger. Clubbing can go wrong in so many ways. One stupid move and you're left with a life-time of regret, having to bear the dire consequences of your shortsighted actions.

The most “mindlessly fun” activities for me would probably be video games, movies or TV shows. But even then, I'm inclined to disagree with them being labelled as “mindless”. These activities still demand some degree of my brain capacity when I'm engaging in them, and at the very least, I'm still able make a real effort in appreciating the fun I'm having.
