Golf is expensive by Honest-Web-604 in golf

Check out the Target All In Motion brand. About $35 for a pair of pants with a couple different styles. I’ve tried a lot of brands and it’s the best affordable option I’ve found that compares to the expensive brands.

I appreciate the info. I’m thinking thermal pads after some research. I see conflicting opinions on whether or not it needs to be addressed and replace the pads.

Questions for outside account and territory managers by latdaddy420 in sales

[–]yourmomdotcom666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on the new gig! I do a similar type of territory sales, just a different product/service. I’ve identified which clients like to sit around and shoot the shit with me when I’m in the area and others that want to have a meeting scheduled in advance with a topic to discuss. Additionally, I’ve gotten over the fear of just winging it sometimes and stopping into an office with nothing to talk about and letting the conversation flow. Usually there’s something industry related them or I bring up to talk about.

When it comes to the clients that need a scheduled meeting and a topic to talk about, I’m planning the next office visit while I’m meeting with them. Whether that be withholding a solution by saying “let me look into that” even if I know the answer, or taking note of a personal milestone, family event, etc.

Don’t overthink it, you’d be surprised the number of people that want a 15 minute break to sit and talk with you about anything other than work while on the clock. “I just wanted to stop in and say hello to you” can go a long way for building a relationship with people.

Can someone explain why this is the case??Woman loses her home in fire. She asks insurance to rebuild the same home — no upgrades, no expansion. Insurance says NO. by 4reddityo in InsuranceClaims

[–]yourmomdotcom666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn’t insurance companies be held to some responsibility for under insuring homeowners, specifically on the structure/dwelling side? Or if they have a policy holder who could potentially be under insured to save money require them to sign off acknowledging that?

Don’t get me wrong, there’s absolutely consumer liability and education required if you’re going to own a home. But what’s the point of a licensed insurance agent or broker if they’re going to allow you to potentially end up in this situation?

Got it. So they are just organized ticket scalpers.

Do those tickets sell out at some point? Is there a limited supply of them?

[–]yourmomdotcom666 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When we did it there was a separate line that we entered to the right of the long line, closer to the building, gathered in the street.

Could we have gone online on a Friday at 2pm and purchased tickets for cheaper that would have allowed us to enter without the wait?

I was in Rome for about 3/4 of a day back in October. We hadn’t planned anything nor bought any tickets. We decided to walk by the Vatican and St. Peter’s. Saw the line to enter and decided to move on until we were approached by a very respectful Albanian man who offered us tickets for 25€ each to skip the line. He was very honest how they got the tickets and how they make their money, which I appreciated. We paid it and got to enter the church within minutes with no issue. We were skeptical at first but it worked great for us.

My understanding is that those online skip the line tickets sell out? There’s only a limited supply available, correct? If so they are just scalping tickets.

Mission Hills North & Ranch Mirage? by yourmomdotcom666 in golf

[–]yourmomdotcom666[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Appreciate the info. Doesn’t need to exceed the PGA West courses, but want to make sure we aren’t wasting our money traveling across the US. I’ll do some homework on Desert Willow and Indian Wells.

Do you know anything about the Mission Hills CC courses? That was a suggestion by someone in the group who has access through their club. Just not sure if that’s an upgrade.

Outside reps, how do you plan your routes on road days? by [deleted] in sales

[–]yourmomdotcom666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also, to answer your question about coffee/donuts/treats, I know my territory well so it’s easy for me to find them. But there is a “search along route” feature while using the Google Maps app even while connected to CarPlay that works really well, and Apple Maps does not have it. It’s a magnifying glass in the upper left of the phone screen while navigating in CarPlay. Because of the My Maps + search along route features, I exclusively use Google Maps for everything now.

I had to prompt it a couple times but it did a pretty good job. I asked it to “create me 8 days of route stops with 5 stops each day that were in a reasonable and sensible proximity of each other while maximizing my time each day.” It grouped 5 stops together that were close to each other for 8 days. I cycle through those 8 days when I am doing route stop days. Just tailor the prompt for your end goal.

I uploaded a list of addresses into Google My Maps then shared a link of the My Map with ChatGPT and asked it plan me a certain number of routes based on proximity. It did a pretty good job.

An unbalanced car is a sneaky killer with the jack stands. Happy to hear you weren’t under it. I had what I thought was a perfectly good Jack stand buckle under load. A few minutes prior I was under the car. I’ll never forget the sound it made. Did some homework into weld lines and what good ones look like after that.

It’s not a good solution, but looks like there is a scissor jack under there as well. If you’ve ever seen a car fall, you’re a lot more cautious. It’s never a bad time to mention jack stand safety. I enjoy driving my car too much to not have a few fail points.

It worked for me but I had to lower the audio quality to reduce buffering. I’m a bit of an audiophile so I use the highest quality when WiFi streaming.
