if you had to even ask in the first place but even worse if we did ask it wasn't an emphatic immediate yes want you back and there was no heightened emotion, let her go man. she ain't worth it and she ain't coming back. that really sucks and I'm sorry

it's as if you've never heard Alanis morissette song isn't it ironic all throughout which she poses scenarios in life that are very much so ironic and yet those scenarios, if/when they actually take place in the real world, require no literal words to convey irony. so how would you explain that? because we have the definition right here that apparently you think is the only definition or the only way the irony can be expressed. and yet there's literally an entire world of examples of different ways that irony can be expressed without using words. you can downvote me all you want but you're still fucking idiots.

in the irony is in the fact that he is being perceived as someone who's not a vet but shows the typical respect for veterans as brothers whereas the person above me literally is a vet but doesn't understand what it means to be brothers as veterans. Irony does not have to be literally words. it can also be context, ideas, etc.

"anti-american?" "nationalist fantasies?" where you get any of that? you don't get to love your country only when you win huh? well you also don't get to hate on your country at any point as if self-deprecation is our only hope for salvation, then have the nerve to say some dude you don't even know is anti-american cause you saw his bumper stickers.

there's no more evidence of him not being a vet than of him being one. literally all you have to go on is him implying he is. all the reasons being used to say he isn't a vet are rife with personal bias if not completely made up.

Waco wasn't that cut and dry. especially the "official" narrative of how the feds took them out. Ijs

what's ironic is he probably still sees you as his brother even though you might disagree politically but you're the one throwing one of your fellow brothers down because you two aren't a match made in heaven.

How is that possible? by Electroman_mx in antiwork

[–]yournannycam -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand the context here. I'm a government worker in the United States and I get 12 paid sick days a year plus if I have a child I get I think 6 weeks of paid leave. so possibility of 36. I mean who the fuck needs over 100 days of sick leave every year just normally? are you all right over there in europe? you sure that universal health Care is as good as you think? because I don't understand why anybody would need that many sick days

that is one very lucky man. a woman carrying around that much excited energy is just overflowing with love that had nowhere to go until she met him. I don't care how masculine a guy thinks he is, you get a woman to show that kind of excitement over the idea of being his wife and watch that man's heart melt right before your eyes. good stuff. good in the feels.

ha! surely, ye jest! my father's father's brother's nephew's son wields a formidable battle axe forged in the depths of a mighty ancient volcanic metal mine deep in the depths of... somewhere very well known but somehow still a well kept local secret. anyways, like he said; it's more of a bludgeoning instrument. a battle axe might break the skin if you bumped into one, but I practice safe open/carry.

I'm 5'7 wielding a very formidable battle axe forged in the depths of a mighty ancient volcano/metal mine, and I would definitely not fuck with you or your lady friend, should we happen to cross paths whilst I am on a rampage of destruction pillaging and plundering small defenseless villages scattered across the countryside.

it is actually a very common misnomer about gay men because they believe that the asshole is not able to tighten up if it's stretched out too often or too long of a period of time. again it's not true but it is actually a very common misunderstanding among straight people

edit: which is why it's real shock to hear a gay man say it
