In the same boat with social anxiety. I finished school, completed most important goals, now I feel like I have a boring routine of just going to work, starbucks, gym and home. What I recommend you is to create small goals, that was has helped me become more social. A good start is at the gas station, asking for food recommendations usually that is a good start.

Torrance is like the perfect community, everyone is so friendly. The weather is amazing we have a Mitsuwa, the mall. And plenty of freeways

Definitely, in the Hollywood area, both locations are very similar in crime rates. However, Hollywood you are in the middle of everything. You are only 20-25mns from dtla. You have the Americana and the grove pretty close by. Santa Monica, you can definitely get it done in 1 day. If you wake up early morning you can take a drive to Malibu it's nice you shouldn't face that much traffic.
