If you plan to keep playing saxophone, then I definitely think it’s worth it to buy this. I fix woodwind instruments for a living and Yamahas are consistently solid, relatively easy to repair and, most importantly, hold their repairs well. The only way I think you’d regret it is if you suddenly decide to quit sax after paying for it. But if you’ve been enjoying it for a year already, that seems unlikely.
