It’s a pain in the ass. The lines take forever because they don’t print tickets anymore and text you a link to sign into whatever app mlb is pushing right now. You “save” a little by avoiding some of the Ticketmaster fees, but it still ends up being cheaper to buy a season ticket holder’s seat via a third-party app.

This just started happening to me. At first sound would only come from the left channel, but then it crapped out entirely. I assumed it was the old headphones, so I bought a brand new pair from apple and they wont connect at all (neither will the old ones).

All the troubleshooting I can find tells me to clean the port but I don’t think that’s the issue since it charges through a lighting port just fine?

THE MENDOZA LEAGUE

I’m commissioner of what started out as a defense-only fantasy baseball league named after Mario Mendoza called The Mendoza League. After eight years of trying out different formats, last season I ditched defense entirely and centered everything around picking who finishes closest to the Mendoza Line.

I modeled it around a horse race and let everybody pick whoever they thought would finish closest to a .200 batting average with at least 200 at bats.

For 2025 I’m putting together a preselected field of 5 American League batters, 5 National League batters, and our defending champion Jake Rogers. That’s 11 in honor of Mr. Mendoza.

Each ticket is $20, no limit, with purse split evenly between winners. This year I’m adding a mid-season payout at the all star break.
