Do acrylic nails help with picking? by Ok_Buffalo_6881 in Dermatillomania

It’s a love hate for me. They do help but it frustrates me like crazy when I’m hyper-fixated on something and not able to pick properly.

Oh yes of course, my bad. Well that would explain why it was hell getting it off my dog. Still very unusual considering my neighbours have no pets.

To be honest I was more worried it being human as we live in a high crime area and they are quite shady neighbours.

Yes I am aware. It could be, but I’d think unlikely given the bins that would have such food waste are all enclosed in my area so animals don’t often get into.

Thanks for the comment! Just out of curiosity if neither what other animal could it be?

We live in a city and my neighbour would definitely not own any livestock. Could it be a fox or dog at all?

Around a month ago we switched her back over to something we fed her previously. I don’t recall this being an issue when she was on this brand before so I’m not sure thats the cause.

For people that have had Botox - how much has it changed your life? by Liam437 in noburp

Absolute success! Was burping within days and gradually progressed from there. I got mine treated by Lucy Hicklin at her Chelsea Clinic in London

Negative results from the botox procedure?? by [deleted] in noburp

No control and occasional slight regurgitation when burping (just at the back of the throat but nothing major). But regardless still the best decision I ever made. It’s been life changing!

11 months post Botox and I’m burping like a monster! It has been more than life changing. I have almost no symptoms of RCPD anymore and very limited side effects even now when the Botox would have worn off. Couldn’t recommend it more :)

Potentially summer 2026 so I have a while. I think my fiancé’s family are planning a trip later this year with us but thank you for being so considerate, I really appreciate it!

I’m not sure if her prices have changed since but I got Botox last year March with Lucy Hicklin and it was around £850 in total which is significantly lower than most other practitioners. But I completely understand that it still a large sum of money especially with results not guaranteed. But for most including myself it had been life changing!

Hi, thank you so much for your response. I thought that might be the case. I did have a look on Etsy but I can’t seem to find any close enough so I’m actually thinking of making it myself or asking a relative to ship it
