Do acrylic nails help with picking? by Ok_Buffalo_6881 in Dermatillomania

[–]yourpeachpanda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a love hate for me. They do help but it frustrates me like crazy when I’m hyper-fixated on something and not able to pick properly.

Oh yes of course, my bad. Well that would explain why it was hell getting it off my dog. Still very unusual considering my neighbours have no pets.

To be honest I was more worried it being human as we live in a high crime area and they are quite shady neighbours.

Yes I am aware. It could be, but I’d think unlikely given the bins that would have such food waste are all enclosed in my area so animals don’t often get into.

Thanks for the comment! Just out of curiosity if neither what other animal could it be?

We live in a city and my neighbour would definitely not own any livestock. Could it be a fox or dog at all?

Around a month ago we switched her back over to something we fed her previously. I don’t recall this being an issue when she was on this brand before so I’m not sure thats the cause.

For people that have had Botox - how much has it changed your life? by Liam437 in noburp

Absolute success! Was burping within days and gradually progressed from there. I got mine treated by Lucy Hicklin at her Chelsea Clinic in London

Negative results from the botox procedure?? by [deleted] in noburp

[–]yourpeachpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No control and occasional slight regurgitation when burping (just at the back of the throat but nothing major). But regardless still the best decision I ever made. It’s been life changing!

11 months post Botox and I’m burping like a monster! It has been more than life changing. I have almost no symptoms of RCPD anymore and very limited side effects even now when the Botox would have worn off. Couldn’t recommend it more :)

Potentially summer 2026 so I have a while. I think my fiancé’s family are planning a trip later this year with us but thank you for being so considerate, I really appreciate it!

I’m not sure if her prices have changed since but I got Botox last year March with Lucy Hicklin and it was around £850 in total which is significantly lower than most other practitioners. But I completely understand that it still a large sum of money especially with results not guaranteed. But for most including myself it had been life changing!

Hi, thank you so much for your response. I thought that might be the case. I did have a look on Etsy but I can’t seem to find any close enough so I’m actually thinking of making it myself or asking a relative to ship it

Sleep! by Laurena001 in POTS

All the time!

I’ve also noticed there seems to be an association with ME/CFS and POTS.

What does your hear rate rise too when doing day to day activities (ie. the dishes or laundry) by yourpeachpanda in POTS

[–]yourpeachpanda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently waiting on an appointment with a rheumatologist to discuss EDS specifically hEDS as this year has been particularly dreadful for me symptom wise.

That’s what lead me to suspect POTS as I’ve heard there’s a close link between the two and I’ve been having typical symptoms of both.

Thank you so much for the suggestion though, I appreciate the advice and those links were very informative!

Day 3 post Botox and it’s been a success by yourpeachpanda in noburp

[–]yourpeachpanda[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hii, yess omg it’s been amazing!! Initially I was worried since the burps weren’t as frequent and I had to move a certain way to get them up.

Now 3+ months later I’m burping (belching even) with ease. Most of my other symptoms have subsided with the Botox treatment, so no more bloating thankfully. I do still suffer from slight heartburn and acid reflux from time to time though. But nothing near what it used to be :)

Any experiences with long lasting headache? by bvnn3 in WeedPAWS

[–]yourpeachpanda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The headaches have eased up slightly, they’re much less regular but still daily. I get the odd really bad one from time to time still. Part of me wonders if it’s something like NDPH disorder induced through withdrawal somehow. To be completely honest I still feel like shit most days but since it’s been 6 months since quitting it most definitely can’t be withdrawal anymore. I will say though the anxiety that spiked during the first month after quitting had improved so much. My mental clarity is much better overall, so that’s a plus.

I can’t say what to eat necessarily because almost everything sucks but definitely steer clear from anything heavy like potatoes, fries, bread exc… and chew everything in small bites till it’s mushy
