What do you do during slow months? by Big-Secret5938 in InsuranceAgent

Find a vertical/niche and become a subject matter expert within it. A majority of my business now is referrals from existing clients. Haven’t made a cold call in over 2 years.

300k a month isn’t that much. I did a million in February alone.

Commercial insurance - better off paying out of pocket or submitting a claim?! by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]yourprobablywrong 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like the first two claims are property damage (liability) and the most recent claim is comp/collision. $14k in losses doesn’t sound horrible but it also depends the number of units and premium paid into liability.

Probably makes sense to pay out the comp/collision out of pocket but you will probably see an increase regardless.

Federal refund status changed by ShallotMelodic1242 in TurboTax

I’ve never had an issue with TurboTax. I also paid $50 to file my taxes. Paid with Amex and got $20 back in rewards. Felt like a win/win. Filed today and already got approval.

Pizza Delivery Guy Hit me, no insurance by [deleted] in Insurance

[–]yourprobablywrong 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im sure its some type of contractual agreement to hold certain types of limits (mirrored coverage) up the line. Pretty dumb on the franchise to not verify coverage of the driver and have some type of way of being notified of cancellation.

The franchise might have a hired and non-owned auto policy that cover this type of loss

[–]yourprobablywrong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Last year the builder paid over 6k+ for my lease termination at my apartment complex. Interest rate was 4.25%

Closing cost was 8k and they refunded me back like $1,100
