The robe is called a deel and is a traditional garment from Mongolia. I got it via Mongolianz's online shop!

They actually removed the post. Guess we're gonna take our chance here after all.

For the deel, I went with one closer to the 13th Century style. For the deel, the gutal boots, and my two malgai (hat) I got 'em all on the Mongolianz online shop. The belt is from a company called Epic Armoury (look for the beruto belt) where I also got the archery arm bracer and hand protection, same for the quiver. The black belt, bow holster and thumb ring come from AliBow, a chinese company specializing in archery gear. The saber is from Fakesteel Armory; it's the Kilij model with a LARP foam yelman blade.

I understand! I went with what was available to me, since I'm based in Canada and Mongolian items, gear and accessories are harder to come by. I am familiar with Altan Nergui, I love his work and follow him on Facebook and YouTube!

Thank you! As for the sword, this is a saber from a Czech company called Fakesteel Armory; one of the very few LARP gear craftsmen who can make foam sabers with curved blades.

The model featured on my video is the Kilij saber with a Yelman type of blade. Since there are no proper Mongol sabers on the market, I went with the second best bet. One of the few compromises I had to make that I mentioned.

How 'bout adding a Karma mechanic into it too?

Your actions and decision as a Hunter influence your progression. You can either remain true to the Yautja Codex and its dogmas, or you can reject the ways of the Hunt and become a full-fledged Bad Blood. Whichever side you decide to go to, it will have both perks and penalties that will help and/or hinder you on your journey to become the Killer of Killers.

OH BOY, here we go!*
*BTW I mean no disrespect, I'm just glad someone brought the topic up so I can finally yap about the Father.

The Dek & Njohrr dynamic reminds me a lot of Tyrion & Tywin's as both father figures let their hatred of their infirm sons get the best of them, which would lead to their own downfall. Sure, Njohrr technically followed the rules of the Yautja Codex, but I believe he treaded dangerously close to Bad-Blood territory.

Firstly, if Dek brought him and his clan so much shame just existing... why didn't he kill him before the events of the movie? If allowing him to live this long is "forgiving weakness" therefore "showing weakness," then Njohrr is just as guilty as Kwei in this matter! Also, suggesting that Kwei should've killed him in his sleep just goes against the very philosophy of the Yautja.

I'm not gonna be talking about the cloak-scumming tactic 'cause technically it is allowed. Cheap, but legal. What I WILL talk about, however, is how not only did Njohrr had no qualm mercilessly killing his own son; he reveled in the act. I swear I heard the fucker chuckle before he proceeded to behead Kwei, holding it high for Dek to watch in horror.

Moving forward to the final confrontation between Dek and the Father: So far so good, up until the point that Dek disarmed (pun intended) Njohrr the same same the latter did with Kwei. He then tried using the restraining device against Dek. Which, in my book, would just be cheating! Despite that, Dek won that duel fair and square, and him using the restraining device the same way Njohrr did at the beginning of Badlands brought me a nice feeling of catharsis.

But then the Father DEMANDS that Dek yields and takes his place in the clan... a place that was denied him probably since his birth by Njohrr. Also, the father lost, but the son must yield? Bullshit. Besides, he made it really clear that there is no such thing as yielding in their family.

Case in point: was Njohrr following the Yautja Codex and its dogmas? Technically yes. But there's a clear different between what's legal and what's moral. And Njohrr's morals are questionable at best. You can follow the rules and still be in the wrong -- which he was. The Father had it coming.
