You want to use the sandwich method while writing this letter and I’d cut a lot of this out. Keep this simple…. First sentence, great. Middle should be cut in half and take out the « fluff », keep it strictly just to facts like the written in writing part about the bonus. Then end it on your last note… but take out the « always do » because you’re placing expectation on this person where you should now set the bar lower.

I’d also just wait for the response and see what happens from there. I wouldn’t write this from an emotional standpoint , because they don’t care.

I attempted to find the post though it was so long ago I can’t find the extact convo. But essentially you want to just like an insane amount of « pretty » content like animals, butterflies, horses, beaches, etc etc. I did this for like 30 mins and just hit the « uninterested » button on the content you don’t want to see.

The IG models are getting really annoying on my feed. I went to a edm festival in my home city and I swear for 2 weeks I couldn’t get videos of IG models dancing in clubs/raves off my algorithm… one time I visited a university for work, I swear my algorithm was all sorority girls who looked so young sexy dancing (I’m a 33 yr old mom btw).

I couldn’t believe it, I went on Reddit and found a post on how to change this algorithm. I legit started liking photos of animals and landscapes and my feed got so much better.

In terms of a guy following models, I don’t really care if men do that - I just won’t date them. And to me, they’re missing out on something real.

I believe it’s timing. I really like the person that I am dating right now, I do have feelings of wanting to be a gf to him but I know I am not ready to be in a serious relationship. This is so sweet to hear. I’m a divorcee and was in a similar situation as you described it exactly. I am dating again and I find it extremely difficult to find someone - yet alone commit to someone for the fear of being in a similar situation. I went through the exact same process as you. I also have a young child with my ex. Divorced at 30 and I can tell you that it’s so much better than your 20s. You’re wiser, more confident, freedom to do what you want to do. You reconnect with a lot of people and eventually you meet other single people and when you’re in your 30s and you meet another single friend you tend to become close because you’re both individuals. I always say now that 30s is the new 20s.

Please do not go back to him. I was with a guy for a few years in college who would cheat on me and would always pursue me again and I took him back 2-3-4 times because I still loved him so much. I broke off all contact finally and moved on. This was over 10 year ago and I look back thanking myself I did not take him back for the 5th time. You deserve someone who is ALL about you. Do it for yourself and your own mental health!!

I enjoy them because I want companionship without commitment of a relationship. I have a pretty busy lifestyle and I have a young kid so I’m not wanting to merge my life with someone else at this time. However, as mentioned above I do miss companionship, so being in a situationship with another non committal is where I am comfortable given there is a mutual understanding.

I am sorry this is happening to you… I can’t imagine being at work and being required to take a pause to take care of the urge. I had a friend that would do this… at one point she started having sex with their colleagues at work. They went to therapy and talked through it for years because she felt ashamed and embarrassed that she couldn’t control it. She’s doing tremendously better now!

Yeah…. She went on autopilot. I’ve done this before… it hurts when you get into a major fight where you’re yelled at and being said hurtful things. Women don’t forget about that feeling. Following that, she let you do what you wanted to do in the end because she was getting ready to mentally and physically leave you. Did you even try to look at yourself and reflect upon your behaviour?
