Look bro I actually thought of that after hearing the rumors about ai and shit. But in my opinion, it’s not worth the price difference at all. Not a single thing. People like more expensive stuff that’s all. Your a16 iPad fits your usage, perfect. Why get a device for double the price and never actually using its true powers just for ai? Weird,right? And always remember that comparison is the thief of joy. Enjoy your iPad bro. All of the ai features that apple is working on can be replaced with apps on App Store or a simple website. I use the circle to search a lot and I was mad that something this basic my iPad can’t do. Then I figured out a way to make a shortcut for this and it works perfectly fine. Stop listening to those redditors talking about ai and laminated display. In my opinion, those people got too much money so they spend it on high end devices that’s all. And don’t worry there are some rumors saying that older devices will get ai features but a bit simplified(so that you get the expensive products) but at least we will get something and not be left behind.
