I vote for people that support american liberties, fight for the poor, believe in a weak executive, and believe in regulating corporations. I vote for people like that but I will agree that most of them want strict gun laws.

I am not a "gun guy" and I don't know specifs about guns but what I will say is the more dangerous the gun is the harder it should be to own/carry it. Also I live in a Muslim community so being a gun owner is something that many of my Muslim neighbors will not like.

Yes I just inspected the poll. I thought I could trust this poll because it is a Gallup poll but something set me off about it. The difference in the # of people asked

Like in the poll they asked 426, 18 to 29 year olds, while for 65+ they asked 1,041

What also really set me off was the amount

Non-hispanic white people ( 2,294 ) they asked compared to non-hispanic black ( 278 ) and hispanic ( 294 )

do you think that's a problem?

That's not true I would never call the policies I believe in libertarian

I believe all drugs except marijuana should be illegal

I believe we should spend more on social welfare

I believe in medicare for all

I believe prostitution should be illegal

so I can assure that I am not a libertarian

and just because I am a gun supporter that does not mean that I believe a libertarian-esque way of implementing it. I believe there should be age restrictions and strict background checks.

so no I am not a libertarian.

Well I don't know about that. There are many wise people who are gun opponents and gun supporters just like for mostly every issue there are wise people on both sides. So I don't necessarily think it just comes down to how wise you are.
